Your TrailFlex Modular Pack System is equipped with an integrated 2-liter hydration reservoir with MicrobanŽ antimicrobial protection.
Before first use, rinse the inside of the reservoir with warm water and empty before filling with drinking water. To clean the reservoir, add 1 teaspoon baking soda to 1 cup water. Pour mixture into reservoir. Shake, empty and rinse with clean water. Then add 1 tsp. lemon juice to 1 cup water. Pour mixture into reservoir. Shake, empty, rinse and dry. Drinking valve may be disassembled for cleaning.
To remove the reservoir for cleaning or filling; unzip reservoir pouch and open Velcro tabs at top of pouch. (Backpack must be removed to access the hydration bladder.) Gently remove reservoir and tube from harness. Remove cap and fill reservoir with water. Replace cap firmly. Squeeze reservoir to make sure the cap is sealed properly. Replace in pouch, securing with Velcro tabs.
Hydration tube may be adjusted for access on left or right shoulder strap. To drink from the hydration tube, bite on valve to begin water flow.
Always make sure reservoir is dry when not in use.
